ALT1:... that pioneering American surgeon Stefania Berlinerblau worked at the New England Hospital for Women and Children, the only hospital that accepted female physicians in Boston in the late 1800s? Source: " in the late 1800s Fanny Berlin became one of the first Jewish women to practice surgery in the United States... Women doctors were not able to practice in other hospitals in Boston." Overall: Two issues: (1) Do you have a citation for completing her degree in 1875? (2) The infobox says she was born in 1850, but the Background section says she was born in 1852. Is this an error, or are there conflicting sources on this - and if so, please could you say that in the text? I have added the birth-death dates to the header (as is normal for WP biographies), but please correct that if the dates issue is resolved. This is a fascinating article; thank you for this. I just wish we could find a photograph of her. I have searched a little for you, but with no success (the missing photo does not affect DYK, of course). Hi, Storye book. To address your concerns: I have cited the info about her graduation. It is the same as the source of the previous sentence. You are right that there are conflicting sources on her birth date and I have noted this in the Background section accordingly. I have also tried looking for a photograph but I could not find anything. Thank you very much for the changes and efforts you made. Regards, Darwin Naz (talk) 23:45, 24 October 2020 (UTC)
